This is the Moscow branch of the St. Petersburg–based Dreamteam project run by the two Alexeys: restaurateur Alexey Burov and brand chef Alexey Kanevsky, who studied the craft of smoking everywhere from Texas to Myanmar. Beef brisket smokes for 18 hours, guests call it «the one», and they're justifiably proud to have brought the technique to Russia first. People also head to the two-story mansion on Trubnaya Square for ribs, steaks, and burgers, not to mention the delightful countryside spirit. In summer they set up a green barbecue zone in the courtyard with picnics, in winter they deck out the façade with whimsical decor, Sundays bring brunch, all year round there are oven breakfasts, seasonal festival menus, and showstopper dishes: don't miss the paella, Wellington, and smoked salmon head.
