Grand Cru is celebrating its twentieth anniversary in 2026, and all this time the patriarch of Patriarch’s, as devotees call the restaurant on Malaya Bronnaya, has remained unfazed by the pulse of the city outside. Surely, many more jubilees lie ahead. That's primarily because Grand Cru is part of the Simple Group's wine ecosystem, with the in-house wine shop's 1000-bottle selection continually updated. The menu, overseen by chef David Emmerle, features haute French cuisine. Vol-au-vent with bisque foam, black cod with kohlrabi scales, chicken in two textures with quince confit — these are selections from the à la carte menu. There is also a gourmet tasting menu, desserts, and Pépite mini sets — three expressions of a single ingredient (for example, crab and/or foie gras) presented on a tiered egg-shaped porcelain stand.
