The cocktail bar beneath the Tekhnikum on Dmitrovka resembles a Napoleonic-era apothecary: candles, glass flasks, an antique cabinet with little drawers, and utensils sourced from Parisian flea markets. That's where the old-world charm ends: here they try new things — practically ahead of their time. In 2017, they were the first in the Russian industry to acquire a rotary evaporator, they popularized cocktail perfumes, and they created a library of mono-distillates, essences of herbs, spices, and flowers from around the world. Clarification (filtering and clearing) or, conversely, texture, low ABV and non-alcoholic mocktails: whatever's on the bar agenda, chances are Korobok is already experimenting with it.
