The Russian theme at this bar on Stoleshnikov Lane steers clear of kitsch — they drew serious inspiration from the era of Gilyarovsky's «Moscow and Muscovites», who lived across the street. A procession of chandeliers, marble and carved sideboard, cocktails like pastoral country estate landscapes. Strawberry–Rhubarb, Honeysuckle, Cloudberry, Mushroom with porcini and brandy, Cranberry served with a little crane figurine, and Maple with maple syrup, hay, viburnum berries, and Calvados. Founder Pyotr Baryshnikov fills his cart with local seasonal produce, though he doesn't neglect the global classics. The wine is Russian too, as is the stracciatella paired with roasted peppers. The pastrami sandwich, celery chips with caviar — everything is served on Gzhel porcelain.
